Nikon D60 Internal dust on lens?
So ya there's dust there or something and a spec is showing up on my pictures. I have a wedding to shoot in a lil over a day and i'm freaking out i don't have time to take it anywhere.i've tried using a microfiber cloth as well as q-tip and nothing changed. Any tips or tricks please? :/
You have a wedding to shoot and you only have one lens? If there's dust inside your lens then it will have to be professionally cleaned by an authorized Nikon service tech. About all you can do is check and make sure the dust isn't on your sensor instead of inside your lens and if your sensor is clean just shoot the wedding and remove the offending spot in post processing.
Usually, dark spots on images has to do with dust on the cameras sensor, NOT the lens. If you can hold the lens up to the light and look through both the rear element and front element and not see dust, then there's NOTHING wrong with your lens.
The first place dust accumulates in on the front of the cameras front element or front of the filter, hopefully.
How do you expect the microfiber cloth to reach inside the lens if there was some dust in it?
Use an ear syringe to gently blow the dust off the sensor.
