Nikon d3100-film videos in dark place?

I have camera called Nikon d3100.Im going to event, where its kind of dark. What is the best way to film videos in dark place with this camera/ how Do i do it?

You have 3 options…

1. Wide aperture lens (f/2.8 or faster), but this will affect the depth of field
2. High ISO setting, which will affect image quality
3. Add more light to the scene, which may not even be possible

There's no magic button, or easy way to make a dark scene appear to be a well lit scene. All of the things you can do will have an effect that may or may not give you the results you want.

In any case, you need to find a similarly lit scene and practice, just to see what you and your gear are actually capable of before you even attempt this at an event.

Buy the fastest lens you can. But don't expect much. This is a nice entry level camera, but it just isn't designed for low light videos.
