The price range is not too good to be true or anything but that model of camera is selling out everywhere because a new one is coming out. Does this seller look reliable? I'd rather not get scammed and end up with a Nikon camera.

It looks reliable. Quite a history of modern electronics and a good percentage of good deals. I'd buy from him.

Just the fact that the seller calls the D3000 a "SLR, Professional" would be enough to warn me off.

The D3000 is an entry level dSLR. The professional APS-C sensored Nikon is the D300s, about $1, 700 with no lens. The full frame professional Nikon is the D3s, $5, 200, no lens.

The price is far too low for that camera and lens too. The MSRP is about $550. Authorized dealers of Nikon equipment stick to those prices.

The chances are high that this seller is selling gray market gear… A whole different can of worms

Stick to reputable stores like B&H Photo, Adorama, Samy's, Ritz and others

These folks rate sellers based on actual customer input. If they are good they'll have a rating up around 8 or above. If not, it'll show up here in a low rating.

The D3000 is an entry level camera. It currently sells for around $550 retail. I'd pass on it if I were you. As the other poster warned you, it maybe grey market, which means you may not get a warranty or have items missing from the box that should be there.

Feedback score is great. 100% positive feedback is excellent. Seems very reliable but we can never be too sure. If you really like this model, go ahead. If you're in the US, you might be paying extra for duties and taxes. The camera is in Canada.
