How to set up a wireless remote on a Nikon d3100?

I'm almost completely positive that I'm going to purchase the Nikon D3100, and as I was reading up on the specs I learned that it doesn't have a port for a wireless remote. However, after further reading, I found that there's some way to add something that can make it so you can use a wireless remote. How would you do this?
Also, if you can add in a link to a product that makes this work, that would be great.

The D3100 uses the same type connection for its remote shutter release.
