How to take the battery out of the Nikon D5000?

Sorry about the dumb question, but how do you remove the battery from the d5000?

You really should read the manual if you have no idea how to take the battery out.

The battery is in the same place as where you put it in- at the bottom of the camera, there should be a little door.

Under the camera, there's a latch that you need to open to take out the battery.

you see that image that looks like pacman? Follow the arrow with the lever to open the battery latch then the battery will fall half way. You need to pull it to remove it.

Just like peanuts.
