FOR WHOEVER UNDERSTANDS NIKON ESPECIALLY NIKON D90 (MOVIE SETTINGS AND AUDIO PROBLEM)?

So here's the story

i had tried to set the exposure, aperture, diafragma, etc in video mode of NIKON D90

but it still wouldn't change! The brightness always same (if i was in a bright place, it would be really bright, and vice versa. So i couldn't get a normal brightness for the video!) and didn't make any difference although i had set it to high or low!

and also i had tried to record the video and THERE WAS NO SOUNDS AT All although the audio setting was already ON!

i had read the manual book page 170 but it didn't help AT ALL… The audio still disappeared, and i couldn't hear anything from the video although i was screaming a lot in the video.

i've tried to check out google, youtube and what not for the solutions but i didn't get what i need to solve this.

i need your help really soon because i must use this camera for footage day tomorrow. Please. :'(

sorry for my english tho.

Did you try the exposure compensation button? Below the shutter button on the right with a green dot to the right of the button

The D90 was the first ever dSLR to offer video capabilities. I won't be surprised if exposure in video mode is fully automatic. As for audio, test in the computer and make sure all codecs are updated. If there's still no sound, try using VLC media player. It's free and comes with its own codecs.

The D90 records in mono audio. There should be sound especially in the computer. If you strongly believe something is terribly wrong, have the camera checked at an authorized Nikon service center, preferably within the area where you bought the camera.

The dSLR was never meant to do video. That's the main reason you are having those difficulties with the D90. The right tool for capturing video is a digital camcorder.
