Best lenses for Photography under $300? Nikon D7000?
I'm trying to get into photography, not professionally but as a hobby, yet I want to take Images that look professional. Please, do not try to teach me about composition etc, I know the drill. I want tips on which lenses would work great for Landscape using a D7000. What about closeups? Such as Building's texture.
The lens you need is costs far more than $300, closer to $800 to $1,000, the Nikkor 12024 mm or 12-24 mm lenses
What you can do is shoot overlapping images and the merge them using a program like Photoshop.
I have linked to a landscape taken with a 24-85 mm lens using 24 mm and three overlapping shots.
For the most expansive landscapes, get something below 18mm and above 11mm. Lower than 11mm is fisheye and you wouldn't want that much distortion in your landscapes.
