Any good cameras with a tripod and remote for Lego stop motion videos?
I prefer DSLR cameras.
Cameras do not come with tripods.
If you are doing animation, you need a very sturdy tripod and a head that has some kind of indexing marks on it so that you can keep track of your camera movements.
You also need a camera that can be remotely triggered so that you do not accidentally move the camera each time you take an interval image
ANY current digital SLR camera can do the job. Just look for one which has a sensor that performs well.
I have done some animation and time lapse video using an old Nikon D300 (circa 2007) and it is certainly capable of doing the job.
What this means is that you can buy a good used digital SLR and have enough of your budget left over for four or five continuous lamps to light your scenes. DSLR cameras don't come with a tripod and remote.
You buy those things in addition to the camera. A DSLR will fit on any tripod. Many have remotes available, either wireless or wired. Most new model dSLRs have wireless remote control as an accessory.
