Just wondering if I can buy a wireless flash trigger for my neewer speedlite. I'm just starting to work with flash and don't really know if it can be connected to a wireless trigger?

Sure it can. Pocket Wizard is just one of many of remote radio triggers on the market.

Yes, you can connect any flash to a wireless trigger. Just bring your flash and camera to the camera store so they can help you set everything up. You will be needing a flash trigger and a transmitter.
