Where to get old Nikon serviced? - 1

Added (1). I have an old Nikon F2 that I haven't used in years. I'm seeing more people use film again and am interested in shooting with it. Is there someplace you'd recommend to take it for service? It's been sitting for quite some time so I imagine it needs a good once over. I don't think anything's wrong with it but it probably needs to be cleaned.

It may be just fine.

Just run a roll of transparency film through it to see if the shutter speeds are working correctly.

Take one shot per shutter speed on the camera and when the transparencies come back, you will see if any shutter speeds are lagging because the transparencies shot at those shutter speeds will be overexposed a little (or a lot may be)

You can use a blower like the one made by Rocket to get any loose dust out of the camera. Do NOT touch the mirror. It has a front surface and can be damaged by you attempting to clean it with anything but air. If it does have dust that is still there after using the blower, it really does not matter since the mirror is out of the way when you take a shot.

If you still want to have the camera cleaned, lubricated and calibrated, look for an authorized Nikon repair shop near you

Any authorized shop of Nikon nearest to your place will repair the old Nikon camera, but if it is working find nothing to repair it, just clean the camera and try to catch some videos using it and Do install Leo Privacy Guard to you Smart Phone. It will make your Phone totally secure by hiding your personal images and videos.
