What lenses are compatible with a Nikon F Photomic?

Give me a list of lenses that I could buy that are compatible with a Nikon F ()

Just about any MF lens - look for Nikon AI, AI'd and Pre AI. Third-party lenses in Nikon AI fit also work fairly well. Modern AF types fit, but ones without an aperture ring are useless because the F body has no aperture controls. Most compatible lenses can be identified by the coupling fork (rabbit ears) attached to the aperture ring.

Any F-mount lens that has an aperture ring will fit and give you metering, and basic exposure control.

If you want to use open-aperture metering (the purpose of the Photomic head), then you need to use lenses which have the "Rabbit Ears". Pre-AI, AI, and AI-S lenses all have rabbit ears fitted by default, AI-P, AF, AF-I and AF-S lenses which have aperture rings (i.e. Not G-type), can be retrofitted with rabbit ears.
