What is good long range rifle scope for my Remington 700?

I'm leaning toward a Nikon but I'm open to a Leupold or Bushnell. One of my marine friends suggested a Nikon M308 but I'm not sure I wanna spend that kind of money. This gun is chambered for.308 rounds so I need something of good quality that'll go the distance.

I've got:

Of those, the PFI has the best glass (by far) and definitely the best reticle. The SWFA SS is a nice scope, having good glass, excellent reticle, and excellent tracking. However, just like the PFI, it is fixed power, which makes it durable but… Less flexible than the Nikon.

The Nikon has good glass, probably or maybe better than the SWFA SS, but the tracking isn't very good and the reticle is… Too thick. However, it is variable power, which is nice for hunting.

Anyways, I'm most impressed with the SWFA SS. It is super durable, works well at range, and has the most important feature of any long range scope, being great tracking.

The Nikon M308 isn't really a lot of money, but I don't know how it stacks up against their Buckmaster/Monarch line or the SWFA SS.
