What are some good cheap nikon, canon, kodak dslr cameras?

I go on tumblr alot and i wanna know some good nikon, canon, and/or kodak cameras. And where i could buy them cheap.

Kodak don't do DSLRs and are best avoided anyway.

Work out a budget and find a dealer who'll let you handle a couple of candidates. DSLRs are not cheap.

There's no such as a good cheap anything. Cheap quality doesn't exist. If it's quality you want you'll have to pay for it simple as that.

I can't say for Canon, but as far as used Nikons go, the older D40 is a good camera for a beginner. It's only 6.1mp, but is well known among Nikon users as being a dependable camera that can turn out image quality better than the specs would lead you to believe. I've seen them on ebay for $200 give or take.
