Tips for traveling UK?

This question is aimed at those who have traveled through Europe or possible live somewhere in the UK. I'm attending a 15 day school tour throughout August via 4Seasons. I'm from Africa and have never traveled out of Africa, as a result I don't really know what is required to pack etc. Please ray answer the following questions:

1. What kind of travel bag should I pack with clothing etc? Am I going to walk long distances where a wheelie bag will be more convenient?

2. Back pack? I can't decide what kind of backpack to take. I will be traveling with a Nikon camera with 2 external lenses as well as an iPad. I also was wondering if a moon bag is needed for money, valuables etc.

3. Shoes? I don't want to take more than 2 pairs from a space perspective. I'm packing comfortable walking shoes but should I take boots?

4. What kind of plugs do I need to take?

5. Will there be Wi-Fi in most places? Is it possible for me to buy a sim for my ipad and buy data there?

1. British weather can be very unpredictable so pack clothes for all seasons. One day you may need jeans and a coat but the next day it could be sunny so you can wear shorts and a t-shirt. Being from Africa though you still might find our summers to be cold since you come from a hot climate already. Also bring along a good waterproof coat/jacket as well because it does rain a lot over here.

2. I'm not really an expert on bag packs do I don't really know how to answer this one. Just take one that is big enough and won't damage easily.

3. Walking shoes if your going into the country side and just normal shoes when in towns and cities.

4. We use three pin plugs, Google them if you don't know what they look like.

5. Yes there's a lot of places in the UK with Wi-Fi, some places are free and others you will have to pay. You may not get a Wi-Fi connection in the country side though. I can't answer your question on a sim for your iPad though because I don't know what it is.
