Yikes!

Those cameras are two totally different cameras used for different purposes.

You need to spend more time on the Nikon and Sony websites to first determine if you need a traditional digital SLR which has both optical and electronic viewing (you need optical if you intend to shoot action or sports)

If I were in the market for a fully adjustable camera, I would hold out for the new Nikon D500 (it will be replacing my old trusty Nikon D300 which is going to be converted into an "astro" camera)

What system do you have now? If you have ANY Nikkor lenses, then remember to budget for replacing them with Sony lenses if you go the A7000 route.

Since it's only going to be a month, I would wait. Just be aware that a rumor is not a guarantee. I waited six months for the rumored replacement for the Nikon D700. When the announcement came, the only new products that were announced were point and shoots. Needless to say, I was more than a little peeved for having wasted six months of waiting for nothing.
