Nikon FG shutter release is stuck?

OK so I always take out the batteries when I'm not using the camera in order to preserve them and without batteries it only works in M90 or B speed/mode. So it was in 1/2 or 1/4 and I forgot that there weren't any batteries. When I pushed down the shutter it got stuck. Normally all you have to do to unstuck it is to take it M90 mode. I did but nothing happened. I put the batteries in and still nothing. It seems to be permanently stuck.

Google Nikon FG stuck shutter and do some research.

Just take it into a camera repair shop. It could be a simple fix.
Usually unless you are storing the camera for a year or so, it is not necessary to remove the batteries.
