Nikon D50 date/time stamp?

How do I get the date/time stamp on my photos?

Normally, that is a feature only available on P&S cameras. Most photographers using a camera like a D50 would consider it to be tacky, annoying, and wouldn't want it even if it was available.

You could call Nikon 1-800-NIKON-UX (1-800-645-6689) and ask them if it is possible.

You do know don't you that all your image files have all that data on the image EXIF data

The camera has no option to make it part of the image. The date and time of the camera's clock will be in the EXIF data as long as any processing is in a program that saves that. (e.g. Photoshop or The GIMP will save it, but Paint will lose it.) You may have an option to display this in prints depending on what program you use to open the file and print from. I like to use the Olympus software for that.
