Nikon camera: how do you overcome the problem of aperture in live view mode?

I posted a similar question but typed exposure instead of aperture xD

Since I always use the cameras viewfinder except when my camera is mounted on a microscope or telescope or when I'm shooting welding when on an industrial assignment, I have never had a problem when using the aperture priority mode.

You seem to think that this "problem" is known to everyone, but really without a fuller description of the "problem" there's no way to really answer your question.

Try again and describe in detail how the problem shows itself in live view. My guess is you are using a fully adjustable digital SLR as a video camera. Video is just a feature. The camera is a still camera, but due to marketing pressures, it has a video feature.

If your goal is to shoot video, look into buying an actual video camera

What problem? I can't think of a single problem

Aperture is never a problem. It is part of the solution to get the right exposure.

In LiveView mode, you can press the INFO button to see what settings currently apply then use the usual manner in changing settings according to the manual.

Simple-shoot in aperture priority. Works for stills and video, yet many people don't seem to know that.

Aperture is not a thing that can be defined as a problem. It's the physical size of the lens opening.

Put your camera in auto / P mode, and don't use live view.

Not entirely sure what you mean by "the problem". So I'll take a guess. If you mean that you want a live preview of the exposure in live view mode, then I'm afraid you can't.

You bought the wrong camera if you want a live view mode that's actually usable. +1 for Canon and Pentax.

There are some prime lenses that you can change the apperture manually from the aperture ring they have. Like the Nikkor 50mm 1.8D and costs about 150$
