Your cameras is basically a still camera, just like all other digital SLR cameras.

It, like others, have a video "feature".

In order to be able to use a digital SLR camera as a video camera, you need more accessories.

For clarity, blur is caused by trying to handhold a camera when the shutter speed is not fast enough to prevent camera movement during the exposure. What you are calling "blur" is probably an out of focus video.

As with motion picture cameras, you need to manually focus digital SLR cameras when shooting video.

There's NOTHING wrong with your camera, just your expectations.

You need to focus like you do in Live View. See page 45 of your manual for more details.

Try mounting the camera to a tripod when shooting videos.
