My HD video won't upload to youtube?

So, I took a video with my Nikon d7100, which is very good quality. Then, I edited the video with iMovie. Now, when I try to upload the video to youtube, it says that an error occurred. What I don't understand is that it makes me wait 25-30 minutes before telling me that it won't upload. Can somebody tell me how to fix this?

I don't necessarily what the error means, but you can try exporting it as a Quicktime movie file and then upload it.
