Light Meter on Nikon F90X?

I just started using the F90X and I was wondering where the light meter is, but t that's not my only problem, I don't know why the aperture doesn't show up on the lcd panel or inside the viewfinder.

Here is the manual for the F90 (N90 in the States)

Look on pages 30-32
And a review of that camera

The meter is probably in the floor of the mirror-box and the aperture should be to the right of the shutter speed.
