NIKKOR 18-140mm lens?
Question my brother wants a new lens I've been hearing him talk about 18-140 one but will that lens fit on his nikon 3000? If not what is the best lens I can get him for that camera for his birthday? Also what are some other really good lens.

Yes. It is desiged to fit on a DX camera such as a Nikon d3000.

Yes it will fit. The 18-140mm is the focal length, or amount of zoom it has. The Nikon 3000 doesn't have a focus motor, which means you will need to get an AF-S type lens. Regular AF, or autofocus lenses won't autofocus on that camera. The AF-S lens have a focus motor in the lens.
