Anybody who has a Nikon camera? Nikkor 18-55mm lens?
My i recently dropped my lens (not the actual camera) of my Nikon D300. The lens is called
" AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm". The lens will go on the camera, but it doesn't stay well. It doesn't look like anything is missing or broken off but i guess there has to be! I wanna try to compare my lens with someone elses, so if you have this lens, could you please email me at reganwingo@ymail.com? I just need a picture of the lens from both ends please.
My daughter has my 18-55mm lens, but here's a few photos of the mounting end.
The 18-55mm lens uses plastic for much of the mount, and you may have snapped off a plastic corner from one of the flanges that help lock it.
Use this as an opportunity to upgrade your lens. Your D300 deserves a better lens than the 18-55mm.
