Kodak batteries not working?

I put BRAND NEW kodak batteries into my Nikon, and they don't work. I set it to alkaline like it says and everything. They are even meant for cameras!

Take them back to the shop and complain that they sold you dud batteries.
UNLESS, you bought rechargeable ones? In which case they will have to be charged first.

They might be faulty or something is wrong with your camera.
