So I bought a nikon d5300 hundred recently and I'm learning how to use it. One thing I noticed is that when I adjust the iso there's no change in what I see until I take the picture. So i was wondering if there was a way to make it so these adjustments show up in the live view window?

No. The D5300 has live view, but the image shown is not based on the exposure settings. Therefore, not only do you not see if the exposure is correct, but you also don't see the depth of field that you'll get either. The only types of cameras that do show whether the exposure is correct or not are those with electronic viewfinders (EVF).

LiveView is tuned to make you see the scene better for targeting. It does not show how the picture will appear when taken. To know what will happen to the picture as you change settings, learn photography. There's no other way.
