Both. Sigma makes versions for both camera systems.

You have to make sure you get the version with the proper mount for your particular needs.

The lens is manufactured and supplied by Sigma with either Nikon or Canon mount. It is not interchangeable.

Yes, no, maybe, it depends.

When you buy a lens from third-party brand like Sigma, make sure you get the lens with the same mount as your camera. Basically, if your camera is a Nikon, you get a Nikon-mount lens (F-mount). If it's a Canon, you buy a Canon (EF/EF-S) mount lens.

There are differences with full-frame and crop sensor and then there are also concerns with autofocus with entry-level Nikon dSLRs but that's for another question.

It is for whichever it says on the box. That lens was made for both types of mount, and for others as well.

If you are buying new, just specify which camera you already have when you order the lens.
