Is the Lumix LF1 a good camera for low light?

Added (1). It seems more attractive to me than the Powershot S110 because of the EVF

The Canon S110, Panasonic LF1, and several others have an advantage in low light over cheapo compacts because of their 1/1.7" sensors. The LF1 has an EVF, but according the DPreview it is not great.

It might be more helpful in bright light than low light.
The LF1 has an advantage of giving more telephoto than other premium compacts of its size and price. That comes at a price, with slightly less sharpness than the competing premium compacts.

For low light, apertures and high ISO noise are similar between the S110 and LF1. The Panasonic LF1 has among its scene modes Handheld Night Shot mode, which captures a burst of images at ISO 400 automatically combining them into a single image. The S110 lacks that.

For very low light tripod shots the Panasonic LF1 has exposure time up to 60 seconds, while the Canon S110 only goes up to 15 seconds.
