Go for nikon 5200d… Its best in the three of them

It doesn't matter from a quality point of view.
Add a Pentax to your shopping list and buy the one you like best.
You will love the one you choose whichever you buy and whenever anyone asks you this question in future you will have no hesitation in recommending the one YOU bought.

Like choosing between Audi, Honda, Volvo, Lexus - all good, some folk prefer one some another.

Sony Alpha A58

List the kinds of things you need your camera to be good at doing, then maybe people answering can help better?

They all work OK. Nikon and Canon are the market leaders. The Nikon D5200 would be the most capable on your list but pick Sony for it's excellent and large live EVF if video is important. Look at Pentax too, because their nice optical viewfinder is noticeably better… And they have good weather-sealing.

I'd get the Pentax K-500, but finding a dealer and handling them should enable you to work it out for yourself.

As you can see, you will get a variety of answers and opinions. That's because, they all perform about equally. You should look at the models in a store and buy the one that feels right for you.
