How would someone put 2GB lock in nikon?

Use a 2GB card.

I'm not sure if i understand the question correctly.
One would put a 2GB SD card into it and slide the lock lever to the locked position. The lever is shown on this image:

I'm going to guess that your camera is older than 2006? Am I right?
If so, SDHC cards were not invented until 2006, and the prior cards - SD - only had a 2GB maximum size.
So if your camera was manufactured prior to 2006, it would only accept SD cards - which are limited to 2GB.
Otherwise, I have no clue what you are asking.
