How to turn of a Nikon flash timer on a cool pix and the video?

I've lost my camera book so I'm not sure of what to do.

Download a (free) replacement manual from Nikon.

Do a search for your Nikon <your model> owner's manual. While you're at Nikon downloading the manual, check to see if your firmware is up to date. Updating your firmware is the best way to ensure that it has the latest features and fixes. It's not uncommon for firmware updates to actually add functionality to cameras.

You turn on the flash by pressing the flash (lightning) button repeatedly until the desired flash action is selected.

You turn on the self-timer by pressing the timer (clock) button repeatedly until the desired timer option is selected.

You go to video mode by selecting the video icon (movie camera) in the mode selection menu.

The flash will go on once the self-timer has completed it's countdown. Both flash and self-timer do not work with video. If you don't know what to do, read the manual.
