There are 2 different ways to do this depending on what model your camera is…
The most common way:
On the side of the camera there should be a small rectangle piece that will slide off of the camera. After you find that and open it, there will be a blue or black card inside. To pop this out you normally need to push it in before it will be removed. After that, there should be a slot on your computer that will fit this card and you can insert it there. After that, a message will pop up on your computer asking you what you want to do, where you'll click open to view files and then viola you can put your files wherever you'd like on your computer
I'm assuming this is the type of camera you have so I will not go into detail about how to complete this the other way.

Have you bothered to read your owner's manual? Details are there.

You have got to be kidding! What happened to you instruction manual? Never mind reading these questions for a couple of days?

It is said almost every day! You go and buy a simple memory card reader, put your card in the reader. Attach the reader to a USB port on the computer and WAMBO, an icon appears on your desktop. You click open the icon with several clicks and are presented with your picture files.

Buy a cheap Card Reader. It's what most people do these days. It's very easy to use and also reliable.
