How to create descent videos?

I was wondering if Nikon camera is okay for making good videos although its designed for photo.

I also have Samsung phone. I'm a complete novice, so I don't know anything about making videos.

I just want to make good Facebook videos where I don't have these buzz sounds around me and make some blog youtube videos later on for fun.

Descent videos? Is that like somebody filming a video in a plane as it's descending?

A camcorder is faster and easier to make videos with rather than a still-shot camera with video features added in as a second-tier function.

With practice and a tripod and good lights even a smart phone can produce good video. YOu also need a digital audio recorder (Zoom or tascam) and even a $30 Lavilear microphone.

Here is your first concept: You do NOT take video or pictures of an object. You record the light bouncing off the object. This is why lighting is so critical to good video and photography.
