Help film won't load in Nikon FA?

I try to put the roll of film into the chamber but it doesn't seem to fit?!

Are you used to using film cameras?
Have you got the right roll of film?
In what way won't it fit?

If it's a 35mm camera and a 35mm roll of film, then it will fit. You might have to pull up a small lever to lift the spindle inside the film compartment. But I've never used the FA

You generally have to lift the rewind crank to allow the film to drop into the chamber. The projection at the top of the cassette fits into the cutout at the bottom of the chamber, and the fork of the rewind crank engages with the other end, the protruding film should then fall naturally over the film gate.
