Well, most YouTubers use cameras such as the Canon Rebel T3i or the T6s, but the Nikon D3200 is also good for recording. I would recommend getting a Canon Rebel T3i or a Nikon D5100. If your just starting out use the iPhone 6 cam it is really good and shoots 1080p vids easy. Any camcorder can do the job.

Look at the ones made by JVC, Panasonic, Sony or Canon.

For under $300 you can find them which have 25x to 40x optical zoom lenses and shoot in Full HD video. Some can even shoot time lapse and have motion detectors so you can photograph birds nests with its occupants if that is interesting to you

I hope you know that just having the right camera is NOT going to mean you will be producing good Youtube videos.

You will also need a tripod and some good high output continuous lamps (500 watt or better) The correct tool for capturing video is a digital camcorder like the Sony Handycam, Blackmagic Cinema Camera, Red Scarlet Dragon, For.A FT-ONE-OPT, and the Panavision Genesis. The first one mentioned would be more than enough for YouTube purposes. The others would be over-kill.
