Good camera for photography purposes?

I don't just give me brands please (Nikon, Sony, etc). List a specific camera. Something that takes good Night time photos of stars and the moon. I'd like to keep the price under $1200.

Also, are there places that give you the option of paying monthly notes on the camera like Aarons does with their laptops and systems?

I take it Aarons is one of those "rent-to-own" businesses. Have you compared the price of any item from Aarons with the price of buying it outright from some other dealer? Save your money until you can buy what you want. The Aarons route means you'll pay more and have limited selection, although it would satisfy you're "gotta have it now" mentality. While you're saving, you can spend the time doing research -- read online reviews (both professional and customer), magazine articles, etc. Also bear in mind that manufacturers regularly introduce new models, so you could probably get a really good deal on the previous model when the new model is released. And don't be fooled by marketing hype (e.g., number of megapixels are pushed as "the" important parameter, but it's not).
