Will a Raynox mx3000 fisheye lens work on my nikon d3100?

I know the 18-55mm kit lens is for filters but I have a cheap.45x wide angle and it works just fine, I've tried looking it up on google to see if anyone has put a raynox on their nikon, and no results. Has anyone tried it? Some people say that it won't focus but I think otherwise. Please someone help! One of my friends had it on his vx2100 camcorder and the look of the picture was awesome, thanks guys.

If you want a true fisheye view (180 to 220 degrees), you will want a fisheye lens that replaces your current 18-55 mm lens like a Bower 8 mm fisheye.
