What camera should I take to Italy?

Added (1). I will be going to Italy in two days, and I have a choice between two cameras that I will take: Nikon D750 or D800E. Which would be better overall?

Personally, I'm surprised that someone who owns both of these can't decide. I would go with the D800E because of the higher resolution and the one extra stop of faster shutter speeds (but only if I like taking shots in daylight at f/1.4). Moire is not an issue with these cameras. My DSLR doesn't have an AA filter and I've yet to see moire once. The only reason for me to choose the D750 is if I was going to be shooting things that required a faster frame rate and a larger buffer.

You need to consider the various shooting scenarios that you'll be in and ask yourself which body would be better tailored for those types of shots. They're very similar to each other. Being newer, the D750 may have better high-iso performance? I seriously doubt that you will ever be in a situation where you're kicking yourself for not choosing the other camera.
I would be more concerned about having the right glass instead of deciding between these two DSLRs.

If you're accustomed to vacationing together with your digital camera as well as guaranteeing it's security through falls, rainfall as well as thievery, after that consider the actual D800E together with your largest position zoom lens and perhaps your own 24-70 mm zoom lens too.
Additionally have a few "Rain Sleeves" along with you to safeguard the actual digital camera whenever capturing throughout wet climate.

After i journey as well as will end up being abroad with regard to a lot more than 3 times, We additionally have my personal portable computers and so i may duplicate just about all my personal pictures in order to my personal pc at the conclusion of every capturing day time. We additionally have 6 approximately additional storage credit cards.

For travelling, for me personally, I'd say no. DSLRs are just too big and unwieldy.

For travelling a small mirrorless inteterchangeable lens camera would be ideal, with a large APS-c or micro four thirds sensor. Have a look at these listed here: http://www.dpreview.com/...ds%2CAPSCH - you will note that Nikon doesn't make any yet.

With these you get a small camera ideal for travelling that doesn't compromise on image quality.

If you are used to traveling with your camera and assuring its safety from drops, rain and theft, then take the D800E along with your widest angle lens and maybe your 24-70 mm lens as well.

Also carry some "Rain Sleeves" with you to protect the camera when shooting during rainy weather.

When I travel and am going to be away from home for more than three days, I also carry my notebook computer so I can copy all my images to my computer at the end of each shooting day. I also carry six or so extra memory cards.

I carried my Nikon D90 through Paris and London and didn't find it burdensome. And there were plenty of others carrying DSLR's around so I didn't feel like a total odd ball.

You must have bought the D750 for its additional features over the D800E, so that is one for the D750. I'm leery of the D800E not having that anti-aliasing filter, so if you don't know how to compensate for that, that is one strike against the D800E (I would hate to have my "money shot" screwed up with moire). The tilting screen on the D750 is attractive. And the D750 is slightly smaller, if that makes any difference to you.

I would take the D750.

What do you want? Something small and easy to carry? A professional camera or a point-and-shoot? A still photo camera or video camera? Inexpensive or does cost not matter? Waterproof or not? Zoom lens or not? Interchangeable lens or fixed lens?
