Shutter speed on my Nikon D3000?

I just got the Nikon D3000 2 days ago and I was wondering how do i get to the shutter speed and how do I use/set it up?

Do you still have the Owners Manual? Try Reading the Owners Manual because the Owners Manual has so much Basic Information about the camera.

Look on pages 69, 71 and 72 of your user manual
