Photography advice pretty please?

I was wondering if there's a way I can make the aperture more visible and effective on my camera, because whenever I actually try to get a decent aperture effect it never shows as much as other times. I have a Nikon D3000… Thank you

I don't understand your question. Are you asking how to make the background more out of focus? If so, shoot in manual mode. Set your aperture to the largest opening, zoom your lens to the longest length and put your subject far from your background.

If you are asking something else, try rewording the question.

You aren't making aperture visible. You are using your aperture to create a "bokeh" effect. You need to shoot in manual. I have a 1.4 lens and I love to shoot on 1.8. Your lens might not be that low, but the lower the aperture, the more bokeh there will be if the subject is a ways in front of the background. When your aperture is low, it will be a lot brighter, so you will need to adjust your shutter speed and ISO. Read your manual.
