Nikon D3100 I can't figure out how to use the video camera/recording mode?

Random question. I have a Nikon D3100 DSLR camera and for the life of me I can't figure out how to turn it to video mode so I can record? Anyone have one that knows how?

Next to the screen on the right, there's a red circle right? Turn the thing that is over the red circle, and the picture will appear on the screen instead of the inside of the lens, then click on the red circle to record

Turn on your camera and find the red button (Top left) and flick the lever. The camera should go into live view mode and then when you press the red button itll record
