Nikon D3100, Error turn camera off and then on again, how do i fix?

My D3100 is only about 10 months old and as soon as i turn it on it displays, "Error turn camera off and then on again." I've tried turning it on and off, removing the lense, removing the battery, and plugging it into my computer but nothing has worked! Does anyone know how what's wrong with it and how to fix it!

If it is still in warranty call the service number in the instruction book. Try leaving it off for a while before turning it on. Put a new battery in it.

First contact Nikon while it is still under warranty.

Next look in your user manual under troubleshooting, pages 192, 193 and 192.

It is NEVER a good idea to try to "fix" a camera ever, let alone when it is still under warranty

Ten months is still under warranty. Bring it back at once to the store you bought it from. If you bought it online, call the seller immediately.
