Nikon D3100 blurry viewfinder, NOT THE DIOPTER?

It's about a year old, recently the viewfinder is really blurry… I tried adjusting the diopter but it doesn't do anything. I'll look at the numbers on the bottom, and they're still blurry. The pictures comes out crisp and beautiful but its hard to see if they're like that before. Any way to fix it? I tried resetting all settings same thing. Automatic focus is on

Call the costumer service number. The diopter might be broken, your camera might still be under warranty. They are very nice and helpfull. Give them a call.

If the "numbers on the bottom" are blurry, then there's something wrong with the viewfinder, and most likely it IS the diopter. That "it doesn't do anything" when you adjust it, says that the adjustment isn't working. It may be stuck. Nikon or a camera shop will help you.
