Nikon D3000 screen/monitor?

Guise, kindly tell me where and how to turn-on my Nikon D3000 screen. Well, yeah… I know that there's a On/Off switch, okay. But, the screen/monitor didn't show anything even if it is already ON.

Good news is the D3000 lacks live view if you are trying to compose images using that tiny LCD display… Learn to use the viewfinder
You are operating a full bodied DSLR and not a tiny P&S toy camera

The function is called Live View. The D3000 doesn't have it, so you're lumbered with the finest viewfinder system in photographic history.
