Nikon camera photos aren't uploading?

I uploaded some photos from my Nikon d3200 to my computer and it worked fine. But when I tried it again this time, it wouldn't upload! Nothing is popping up. What's wrong? And how do you charge the battery?

How do you read the instruction manual… Would have been a much better question?

There could be a number of things happening that could be doing this… The first that comes to mind is the battery being dead. Meany cameras will not transfer photos when the unit is off… Or unable to turn on. In order to charge the battery you will need the charger for a lithium-ion battery (EN-EL14) if the camera did not come with this charger (because it was purchased used or some other reason) you will need to buy one. Look for a charger for a EN-EL14 lithium-ion battery on the internet or ask about it at a local camera/electronics store.
Otherwise when you plug you camera into your computer (I'm assuming you are using a USB cable) look for your camera in the "Computer" tab of windows explorer. It displays all the hardware you have plugged into your computer. If your camera is not displayed, try using a card reader. To use a card reader open the hatch labeled SD card… Or something like that (It may appear as an "SD" logo). A small card will be inside that compartment. Press your finger into the card till it stops, then without completely removing your finger let the card slide out. This is to prevent the card from shooting out of your camera and possibly out of your field of vision. If you own a Nintendo DS, it's basically the same concept as removing a game cartridge from the unit. Then gently push the card into your computer's card reader(It will be a small slot looking like the one in your camera. Some computers have multi-card drives that will except many different types of cards). If your computer doesn't have one, then you can easily buy one from your local electronics store.

Hope that helped, good luck!

To charge the d3200 take the battery out from the bottom and charge in the separate MH-24 charger. If using the mini usb and the battery is discharged or the camera is switched off nothing will happen.
