Manual focus lenses for Nikon?

I'm a fan of Manual focus lenses for some landscape and macro photography situations. I use a nikon D200. I only have 2 lenses unfortunately a 50 f/1.8 and a Sigma 28-80 Macro.
First off I have been looking at a Soligor 135 F/3.5 lens nikon mount.
I'm also wanting a nice wide angle prime lens roughly a 28 f/2.8 but not a real expensive one. I have seen some vivitar in great shape but as far as older lenses go I really do not know where to start. I know i'm not going to get great quality for under 100$
just looking for a reasonably quality piece of glass that won't break the bank of an unemployed college student.

Very hard to find under $ 100 for this case, you refer to here: http://amzn.to/...to/13lhn06

Here is a guide to what lenses will work and what won't with your camera.

From there you would see the amount of auto or manual control of each type of lens. It looks like you can use any AI lens. That's what you're going to look out for when buying lenses then.

You will run into problems in the wide end. The D200 is APS-C. Popular wide angle lenses for film SLR's like 35mm and 28mm will perform like normal/standard lenses on your camera. Fisheye lenses will have problems mounting your camera too and may break the reflex mirror. Your nearest bet is 24mm.

Buying old lenses is like gambling. You'll never know what you'll get. I've collected a box full of screwmounts and I've been lucky with a couple of superb $10 purchases. $100 is really great in my terms already.
