I currently have a D7000 can I use the same lenses even though the 610 is a full frame?

Also any other pros and cons to getting the D610?

DX lenses will work on full frame bodies, but it will automatically crop the images to DX size if the camera is set to do this. DX lenses are designed to project an image on a smaller area which makes them lighter, smaller, and reduces cost.
If you want to get the full benefit of the D610, you need to use FX lenses.

This is explained in the manual which you can download from Nikon's web site.

Adding a full frame camera to your Nikon system is a good move. Keep the D7000 as your backup camera.

As mentioned, the DX lenses will work just fine on your new D610 since the camera will automatically crop the frame for you.

As you continue to build your camera system, start adding FX lenses to your kit.
