I'm about to take my first dslr camera and i found this

Yes it is fine. The effort you put into learning photography and using the camera properly are far more important.

This process can take one or two years before you become proficient using your camera, so do not get frustrated when the first two or three hundred shots you take are no on par with working pros with over ten to twenty years behind their cameras
You can get any dSLR as your first. All dSLRs are basically the same. Entry-level refers to budget, not skill level. If you can afford a Hasselblad, no one should stop you from getting it.
It's OK, except this would be much better for the same money.
