Is $170 too much for a Nikon D3200?

I'm getting a Nikon D3200 with its original box, camera body and 2 lenses. I don't know if I should take it. Am i getting ripped off? Or should i take it?

$170 is far too cheap - the camera is either broken or stolen.

Maybe the desk sergeant at your local police station would like to hear the details.

You're getting ripped off it the property is stolen. That would be my first thought at that price.

The price seems too good to be true, unless it is someone you actually KNOW to be trustworthy, who might have upgraded and is liquidating cheap as a favor or to avoid haggling hassles.

That would be too cheap for the body alone, let alone with two lenses. Leave well alone.

It's too low!

Highly suspicious. A lowly Pentax ist DS sells at $200 with no lens. Andrew nailed it - either broken or stolen so follow Thankyoumaskedman's advice.

Are you sure it is not stolen?

Some questions you should ask:
- Does the camera work?
- Does the camera perform all of its functions?
- What damage is there to the camera?
- May I see the original bill of sale?
- Does a charger and battery come with the camera?
- How long do I have to check out the camera before you want money?
