How to take nice eyemakeup pics?

I'm using nikon d3100 and i also have a good ring light infront of me as my extra lighting. But the pics of my eye makeups are still not good. What should i do?

Hire a photographer.

Sorry, but stating that the images "… Are still not good" doesn't tell me anything. It's like stating that you don't feel good, what's wrong with me? Uh, it could be anything from allergies to brain cancer. So it is with your photos. It could be anything from the lighting (most likely candidate), to the lens, to your technique of making the image and/or post-processing, or as simple as a setting of white balance - who knows. Can you post a link to your shots or at least post one here?
