How to sync my Nikon D3100 SLR camera to my Godox TT560 for external flash usage?

I recently got into photography and went out and bought a Nikon D3100, then later on I bought a Godox TT560 Speedlite flash off of ebay. Now that I have them both, how can I sync the two so I could use my flash externally?

Three ways come to mind:

1. Radio triggers are the best way. The Calumet Pro 4-channel triggers are probably the best bet regarding price, functionality and reliability. Cheaper triggers are a pain in the buttocks. These are rebranded Phottix Strato units.

2. You can use a Flash extender cable. If you chop the cable and wire in Ethernet Keystone jacks, you can use Ethernet cable to extend the length of the cable. There are different lengths available.

3. Use a PC cord if your flash has a PC jack. You will need an adapter on your camera to supply a PC jack.
